The worst. They never answer their phone. Our rep Phillip Rodriguez under quoted us but they claimed they paid out almost double to the bank they are partners with. I had to get ever and call many times making the line rollover to get a manager. Another rep Iris Quenones even hung up on me. Do not do business with these people if you value your sanity.

I was a 3-year homeowners insurance policy holder with Mercury Insurance. When a pipe burst and flooded my basement on Christmas day, I immediately filed a claim with them. I called the independent agent that sold me the policy, who was no longer in business, leaving me with no one to guide me through this claim process. After everything was fixed (only enough to cover what was damaged as directed) the contractor sent them his invoice, they sent out another claim adjustor to check the work vs. the invoice. The contractor adjusted the bill according to the adjuster. I ended up paying over $3K to the contractor (my deductible was only $2500) and now they are refusing to contact me, refusing to pay the remaining $3,633.79 to the contractor. They are completely unable to even give me an accurate accounting of the claim. The numbers they provide do not even list the correct contractor or payments. On top of all this, they dropped me because they said I didn't have an agent. The head of the GA office Mr. Adam Nevus will not communicate with me, and the contractor is now coming after me for the remainder. #mercuryinsurance #insuranceclaims
