I NEVER HAD A DOCTOR SAY THEY WILL NOT SIGN A CLEARANCE FOR A SURGERY, AND HAVENT EVEN STARTED THE APPOINTMENT. ONLY ASKED THE REASON I WAS THERE FOR..THE DOCTOR IS A JERK. AND IMA REPORT HIM. PEOPLE PAY THEY MONEY TO GO TO THE DOCTOR SO TO TELL A PATIENT BEFORE ANY BLOOD WORK IS DONE, YOU WILL NOT GIVE A CLEARANCE IS WILD... MAYBE HE NEED MORE HAIR AT THE TOP TO ACTUALLY THINK. I HOPE HE NOT DOING THIS TO EVERY PATIENT. BUT IM HERE TO MAKE SURE HE DONT. AND IMA REPORT REPORT REPORT

I had my first consultation with Suja Anthony today, after having been referred from another Piedmont office. I found Suja Anthony to be curt, unprofessional, uncaring about the patient's needs, officious, and hostile. She also has a very a strong Indian accent whereby it was hard to understand her a number of times. She came into the room, read a bunch of notes, and without asking me for any information about how I was doing today, proceeded to belittle and shame me by stating that on a previous visit over a year ago, I had declined a mammogram and some prescription for statin drugs. She did not display any interest in finding out why I may have made that decision at that time, and nor was I there for anything related to this. She then asked me, would I take statin drugs, and I replied let's see what my latest annual blood work shows, which I was there to have ordered. At this point she made a gesture like she was controlling a dog, to get up on the table for her to examine me hands-on. When I questioned her gesture, and commented on her bedside manner, she abruptly told me that she would not proceed with the consultation or help me and left the room. I had driven an hour to get there and she knew this. She also knew that I was there to get blood work ordered and she flatly refused. If this is the best you have to offer, perhaps consider training your staff in cultural appropriateness, in addition to working with the patient rather than playing dictator and speaking down to them with a 'your way or the highway' army major approach.
