Howard Johnson by Wyndham Atlanta Airport/College Park

Its horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Spend $30 more and stay somewhere that isnt filthy and scary (and Ive stayed some shady places): Somewhere the lights and a/c work, and somewhere you wont be afraid to die. I cant begin to describe how scary this place was, and the low quality of it. My Uber driver literally told me not to leave my room in this location (shuttle lol what shuttle), shouldve had him bring me anywhere else no matter the price. I was flying, so had no weapons, but I wish I did. Im grateful nothing happened to me. It was bad. I had 4 hrs to spend here between flights, and I literally wish Id slept in the airport or a bench outside it; wouldve felt safer and more comfortable. Didnt get bed bugs is the only positive, but also slept in a chair in my clothes and didnt open my suitcase. Yes, it was that bad. It was literally worse than you can imagine lol

My first-hand experience was horrible. I waited 1.5 hours for a shuttle ride (which didn't have the name on the white van). Really!! This shuttle contracts with five other hotels and takes forever to get picked-up. So, I check-in and found out they don't server breakfast or have coffee (since the restaurant was being remodeled). First red flag!! The website stated they do provide these accommodations!! Oh, the entire place was filthy and disgusting!!! I mean everywhere, too!! Secondly, they required additional deposit if you use your credit card they will reverse the charged which will take 5 to 7 business days. I gave them cash and got my $50.00 back at check-out. Oh, they had all the lamps were unplugged and bathroom counter was barely hanging onto the wall. The wall heater wasn't working either!! Absuality, dirty and terrible conditions!!!! The elevator seamed like it wasn't working correctly (very rough ride up and back down) very scary, didn't feel like it was going to make it up or back-down. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Yes, I wouldn't stay here even if it was free!!

Beautiful room and very quiet! Great view of airport and highway too (jk) was actually lovely

This hotel is being used for public assistance, which is great for Atlanta, but therefore not suited for business travel. The staff was friendly, but the hotel is outdated, and not maintained. Couldn't wait to leave.
