White Birch Inn

Feb. 2023 The best inn/resort experience that Ive had. The only experience that comes very close is the The Cloister at Sea Island. The staff is incredible. They are professional without being stuffy. Its a friendly, comfortable atmosphere that allows you to completely relax. Feb. 2024 2nd stay and it was at least as good as last time, if not better. I've already booked for Valentine's 2025. Nearby activities: There are many other restaurants in area if you want to get out and drive. There's Black Rock Mountain State Park if you want to view the area from the top of state's Highest State Park. Tallulah Gorge State Park is just down the road and has beautiful views of the canyon, especially if you're willing to walk down and then up the 1099 stairs it takes to get to the very bottom. Goats on the Roof is a ridiculous and fun attraction on the way to the Gorge. Walkability: There's so much to do within a few blocks of the Inn. At the moment, there are six restaurants on the same streets as the Inn and another on the way. So many shops that it will take you at least a couple of days to adequately look around. If you like cocktails or beer, several of the restaurants have great bars and there's a brewery just a few blocks away.

We had a wonderful stay at the White Birch Inn. We loved the sweet staff. Jenna, the manager, was lovely and Letty, the housekeeper and server, was so kind and welcoming. We would recommend a stay here for anyone who wants to have a fun getaway.
