HUSH Restaurant in Clayton, GA is the closest offering of the authentic Cubana Sandwich outside of Havana. Having visited Cuba as a journalist a few years ago covering Ernest Hemingways home, Finca Vigia, I enjoyed a week of Cubanos. HUSH provided me an authentic sandwichthe difference was the missing 1960s brightly painted mid-century Buicks, Chevrolets and Ford convertibles. My family and I love this restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is great. Every item that we have tried on the menu has been fantastic. The food is fresh, and the portion sizes are large. We especially love the.Cuban wrap (be sure to ask for their cilantro lime sauce for your fries), the Georgia Pan con Lechon, the Lechon Asado, the rice bowls, and the sweet plantains. Pictures on my phone do not do the food justice. The atmosphere is very nice on the inside and as well on the deck outside, which provides a great view of downtown Clayton. I love all the local art that is displayed throughout the restaurant. The owners and servers are very friendly. We have been to this restaurant four times in the last few months. We would go more often, but I have to drive about 30 minutes each way. We highly recommend this restaurant! If you love Cuban food, or just want something different, I don't think he will be disappointed! Parking: They have a private parking lot and there is plenty of spaces. There are multiple handicap spaces. Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and kids are welcomed. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is flat and even and should be easy wheelchair access as well is to the tables.

Stopped by for lunch during my AT Hike and wow! Food is amazing. Never expected to find such good Cuban food out on the AT!
