        In claxton the people were awesome polite easy to talk to also very helpful and NO COMPLAINING!!!! EVERYONE WAS BUSY NOT ONE PERSON STANDING AROUND!!! Yall are doing a great job!!! Finally some good Customer service Parking: Could use more Handicaps

        Everything except the cole slaw that came with my deluxe seafood plate was extremely oily. I could not eat the devil crab, shrimp or fish. The fries were hard and inedible. The greasiness literally made me sick to my stomach & I threw the whole plate in the trash. The food just wasnt good.

        Asked for whiting was expecting fried fish, got baked fish and it was dried out, horrible first experience from a franchise that just opened.

      At our Claxton, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.
