Dwell Cleaning

This group is amazing. The cleaning staff are wonderful and the office staff is fantastic too. They did a great job and are such lovely people. They are flexible and able to work around a variety of schedules. I felt like I had a new house when they were done.

The stated purpose of Dwell - to help refugees - is wonderful and the reason we originally chose this company. We used Dwell for several years despite great difficulty in having them arrive anywhere near on time (we have a dog and need to be home for the transition and tried everything from first appointment of the day to other times and the company was just not able to give a reliable time and arrive within 2-3 hours of when they said they would be there). Even worse was the breakage. Dwell broke many of our dearest keepsakes - from our daughters childhood art projects to gifts from her childhood friends. When I started working from home after the pandemic, I discovered what had to be a reason for the high rate of breakage by this company. I would hear loud banging and get up to investigate and to find the cleaners hitting blinds and furniture with dusters to clean. My daughters clay art projects and our family pictures were left shoved to the back of their shelves after each visit by Dwell with frequent breakage of my childs artwork. My reporting of these incidents led to Dwell dropping us as a client. I was originally devastated and thought we couldnt afford anything better but a friend turned us on to Anna Santanna. Her cleaning business is fantastic. Same price, much more thorough cleaning, on time, and zero breakage in the 2+ years they have worked for us. We are so grateful for them. Being dropped by Dwell was a revelation- I should have left them long before but didnt think we could afford anything beter. But much better does exist and at the same price point. - .
