After numerous phone calls in trying to find a dentist that would treat an infected, failing tooth with a crown and root canal, I called. Dr Downeys' office. They agreed to see me, giving me enough time to drive from Blairsville. Dr. Downey didn't want to extract the tooth afraid it would break off due to the 40 year old root canal. Not only did he get me into an oral surgeon,he made the phone call himself! Only a caring person/doctor does that. Everyone of his staff was friendly, kind and professional. I will drive the the 60 miles and make Dr. Downey my regular dentist.
