After 30 years of Security Alarm Service my account was acquired by Owen Security Solutions. I called to cancel my service because I sold my home. I have a credit on my account of $278.10 and was told that I could not get a refund only transfer my service to my next house or try and get the new owners to use the service. I am NOT in a contract with this company and have always paid my bill before it was due. The customer service department asked how my credit was so much and I explained you do not send out statements or statements that say no payment needed at this time so I kept paying them through online banking and never heard from the company. Now that I have cancelled the service they will not give me a refund. This service is just like any other power, water, phone, insurance company and when you have a credit due they give you a refund when you cancel the service.The fact that they do not send out statements and let you continue to give them money is very disheartening that this is what has become of companies. Most companies would love to have honest people paying their bill ahead of time instead of in the arrears. Please beware of this companies business practices.

We have used Owen Security Solutions for the past 4 years and have always appreciated their excellent level of service and professionalism. Over the years we have added to and changed aspects of our services and Owen Security has always been right there, by our side, assuring that our services are functioning as they should. We appreciate their always being there for us and knowing that our business is in good hands with local monitoring as well as excellent response to emergency as well as non-emergency situations.
