I am working on my relationship with God and Jesus, with faith overall. It doesn't come easy like it does for my mom. I've been welcomed into the youth group with open arms. I have a lot of questions and Wayne and Mark answer them without making be feel silly. I've never felt shame or anything like that for not believing. I'm now at a place where I am open to learning more about God and Jesus. My mom says that's Jesus working in my heart. Before Expedition and even in the early days of going, I hated it. I hated church. Now, I really like going. I feel welcomed and calm at Expedition. It's a safe place to ask questions about God and the Bible or life in general. We have really great teachers and I really enjoy our family meals on Wednesday nights. It's nice being somewhere that I feel comfortable and not judged. Everyone has been pretty awesome.

I'm still working in God and church. It's been uncomfortable in the past with other churches but I don't mind going here with my family. I don't feel like an outcast or looked at when I ask genuine questions or even a debate on topics. The environment is friendly and everyone really does care about people. They encourage me to do well in school and pursue my dreams. It's nice knowing people are thinking of you and praying for you regularly. I can definitely see a difference in my family since we started going. A good difference. Wayne is always up for debates and questions. He's a great youth leader. Tim is pretty cool too. And Wednesday's? There dinner. It's pretty chill.

Expedition church has been a wonderful addition to our lives. They are authentic and genuine. They meet each of us where we are in our walk with Christ. No problem or question is too big or small. It can be a little daunting because this isn't a church where you can get lost in the crowd but the changes and growth I've seen in myself and my the last two years have been incredible. It's all because of Jesus, but Expedition has been incredible in fostering that relationship through teachings, worship and community. Expedition isn't a church, it's family.

I really like the people. It's comfortable and small at Expedition. I enjoy Sunday's with my family when Pastor Tim speaks. I also really enjoying Wednesday's where we get to hang out and I learn from Pastor Wayne. He has taught me a lot. I was recently saved!
