This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I filed unemployment Jan 31 2024 and still have not had my claimed reviewed. Ive been calling consistently with everyone telling me the same thing we are reviewing your claim. Then I call the number this morning to be disrespected by being not only called a women and I am clearly a man but also being accused of two people on the phone and then asking me to speak to my son because they heard two people on the phone. Never in my life have I been so embarrassed. Then the lady said she was a manager. I recorded the call and Im glad that I did because Im going to share this with the media. Youre a government company here to help people not judge or embarrass them. Not to mention I am a student and have expressed to them that if I am not helped soon I will have to drop out and potentially be homeless. Needless to say the women still was unable to help and she said my claim will be worked in due process. Its so sad that people like myself worked the entire Covid as an essential employee not once receiving any Covid benefits. Now that Covid is coming to an end and the employees who worked are sadly being laid off we are being put thru the ringers just to get assistance. This is so sad. Im also going to follow up with the governors office, may not get any response but at least they will know how GA employees are treated when they are trying to get the assistance that they deserve.

I just got off the phone with a representative and I can't file a claim over the phone so I go to the website and it's doing everything in its power to stop me from filing. How is everyone else filing, in person?? I have no working car in my possession
