Best Western Inn & Suites

I would not recommend staying at this hotel for several reasons. The first reason is there are bed bugs or some type of insects that bit several of my guys during our stay. The welts were red and itchy. The second reason is due to lack of care and concern from the owner of the hotel. I took my concerns to the owner (in which the front desk clerk told me he was the owner) and he denied being the owner of the hotel. He stated he was a manager and to give another gentleman a call as he would be the one to handle the issues. He (the owner) told me he was only a supervisor. Upon me speaking with the front desk clerk again, I advised her that he stated he wasn't the manager. She then replies in shock stating, he is the owner and she did not know why he would wash his hands with my concerns like that. As of now nothing has been done to address my concerns with bed bug and insect bites. I do not recommend anyone stay here as the owner nor management seems to care. This is a great issue especially if you have children and pets.

We stayed here twice in a week. One night at the beginning of our trip & one on the way home. The first night we asked for & got a handicap room but there were 3 rooms next to us with guys working on a crew somewhere. They kept banging on the doors of the others in their group, setting the alarms on their trucks from inside their room after midnight, & they had an alarm inside the room right next to us that went off at 6 am for 1 hour. No one turned it off. It finally stopped at 7 am. On the way back, the handicap room wasn't available & we were put in a room far from the front door/breakfast area. A bit of a walk with a cane or walker. Food & drinks: Free hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffle makers, grits, toast, English muffins, bananas, yogurt, muffins, juice, coffee, cereal, oatmeal, milk. Would have liked to have bacon as an alternative to the sausage. Noteworthy details: Indoor swimming pool. We didn't take advantage of, but we saw several people who did . If we come through again with our kids/grandkids they probably will.

Forever love staying here Rooms clean, staff is always amazing , I have not one harsh word Most of all, the breakfast attendant is always welcoming and a pleasure to see every morning I genuinely believe shes the reason I keep coming back to stay at this hotel... her greetings every morning are so welcoming and wholesome. She deserves a raise and a promotion STAT
