We had them come out for an estimate on some work in the backyard. The estimate they gave was not only very high but very vague. No prices were given in what the cost was per job. It was an unprofessional estimate at best, yet when I made a comment in their FB post they came back with snide remarks about how professional and great they think they are, real professional guys. Then they promptly blocked me before anyone else could view it. Having an itemized estimate would have given me the opportunity to decide how much I could afford to have done on a fixed income. Being arrogant does not get you customers, word by mouth would be a much better way. My opinion. They claim here they have 5 star reviews, better look again...

Tim was out in our neighborhood cutting up tree's after a major tornado ripped through the area. I asked him if he could cut a large tree off my building and he sent his guys over later that day with chainsaws and got it off my building. He wouldn't even take my money, just out there helping the community. Very much appreciated! Can't recommend them enough!

I had two pecan trees removed from my property. In that process, grass was torn up. GLC came out prepped the area and laid five pallets of sod. These guys did a fantastic job of preparing, grading and laying new sod. When they finished the job, Tim checked my sprinkler system to ensure I had complete coverage. Awesome job! I would definitely use them again. If you need landscaping done around your property, give GLC a call!

We hired Georgia Landscape Company to install a French Drain for us. It is the first and last time we will use this company. This job was important to my husband and I as we had a bad drainage problem in our side yard. We got five quotes for the job because we wanted to make sure we chose the right company; unfortunately we did not make the right choice with Georgia Landscape Company. The first issue we had with them is that they wanted a deposit in order to schedule our job. I have no problem with that policy, I can understand needing that to put a job on the books and so I happily paid it; however, once I paid my deposit all I got was an estimated time frame, not a scheduled date. If I pay money up front, I expect a scheduled date. Additionally, they were supposed to call the utility companies to get all the lines marked and/or moved. Our estimated time frame came and went and their excuse was that the utility lines were not marked/moved. After several more weeks of waiting my husband finally just dig up the internet line himself so they could start the job. My feelings on the company was not starting out well but I still had faith they would do quality work. That hope was quickly crushed. One of the main things I wanted done with the French Drain was for the AC condensation pipe to be tied in to the drain, similar to how our gutters were tied in. This is one main reason we chose this company because while getting the quote Tim indicated that could be done and he seemed confident. When we received the quote this was not specifically listed so we called Tim and made sure the quote included this. He said it did and I trusted him; however, looking back I should have made him go back and specifically add that to the quote. We asked several times during the job about this and were told it would be done. When the job was finished, it was not done and so we asked once again and we were told it would not be done with no explanation why. UNACCEPTABLE!! We deserved at, a minimum, a reason why we were not getting what we requested and paid for. And lastly the quote specifically indicated our drain would be capped with a pop up cap and all they installed was a cap with holes drilled in it. On top of all this, the drain does not seem to be helping the issue, which I know was never a guarantee. However getting what we paid for and the respect we deserve as customers we should have received. We finally just dropped all the issues and paid the bill. However, it is guaranteed that we will never do business again with this company nor ever recommend them!!!
