I want to highly recommend Oconee Tree Service to anyone in need of their services. Especially the removal of a huge pine tree - one that twisted in the wind at its base and leaned against another pine at a 45 degree angle. Not only did they respond to my request within hours, in person, they gave me the best of three estimates to do the job. Then they put off a few customers to bring their entire crew to do the removal as an emergency, on Saturday, because my wife was so afraid it would fall on our house. To top that off (pun intended), they dropped the entire tree without touching my power lines below (even though another contractor asked us to make an appointment with Walton EMC to come turn the power off). After watching the owner of the company tie off and safely drop heavy branch after branch, it was the most incredible sight to see him finally stretch about 78 feet up in the air, in a bucket truck, to cut the 20-25 ft. top off and have it fall safely to earth. The video I took was amazing. Every one of the crew were polite, friendly and informative. They also cleaned up every bit of the debris and wished us well. Let it be known, in the future, I will call Oconee Tree Service first, after what they did for us.
