        My first time at THIS Captain Ds. I wanted to try the new $5.99 Spicy Fish, Shrimp, and Fries. I went inside to order, originally planned on getting it to go, but there were no other customers inside, the place was clean, so I decided to dine in. My order was quickly prepared and given to me. I went to a table and began to load my baked potato (upcharge from the Fries) with the butter and sour cream. Neither of them melted. I bit the fish stick. A little spicy, and barely warm. The shrimp weren't warm at all, and none of them were spicy, neither were the hush puppies. The staff were friendly and neatly dressed, but I'm very unpleasantly surprised by the room temperature food. I brought it home with me to eat later after I get it heated.

      At our Augusta, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.
