Starbucks

I can have caffeine again, everything in moderation. Went to Target and decided to get something for myself since I only bought stuff for the kiddos. Starbucks was loudly calling my name, although they always misspell it.The baristas aren't the friendliest, but I don't enjoy small talk any way. They put up a little spot where it has some of the partner's names and their drink recommendations. I ended up trying one because I was feeling spicy, but WHEW I wish they put prices near it because that price tag gave me a little heart attack. The drink was amazing, 10/10 though.If you want to try it, it was OJ's recommendation. A venti iced caramel brûlée latte with oat milk, sweet cream cold foam and extra caramel drizzle. Don't let them forget the little crunchies on top. It was fantastic, so the next time I get 150 stars saved up, I'll be spending it on that.

This is one of the more consistent Starbucks and I am a huge fan. There's this huge energy vacuum that happens when I take a single step into a Target and this one is no different. I sort of hate shopping and since I can't get adrenaline stabbed into my heart ala Uma Thurman, I depend on coffee and sugar to get me through the experience. I loathe and despise the parking lot here and the pedestrians simply trying to get back to their car reminds me of Frogger. When they did their remodel, why didn't they think about improving the parking lot? Adding lights to the walkway so the rolling stops actually come to a stop could have been very pleasant because let's face it-no one slows down for a speed bump. But location aside, there's a very surly barista that I have grown to adore. I think he may be the only person working considering the number of times I've had my coffee handed off by him. But he is quick and he never makes small talk. If I could hire him to make my every day coffee, I would. I haven't seen my regular coffee guy in quite some time but wherever he is, I know he's not making small talk.
