Brad is amazing! You not only get an amazing wall but you have an owner that is a Georgia Tech engineer. He helped with 2 retaining walls drainage and about to use him to do my grading and driveway. He is professional and extremely knowledgeable. (He also stands behind his product!) If you want a great looking hardscape with a company that doesn't just throw a wall up and disappear use Landfried!!! I hired Lanfried to install an addition to my existing patio. I initially paid a deposit and then was asked for additional money for materials (brick and sand) a week later. I am satisfied with the patio itself overall, however the surrounding area and my front yard was left a total mess. I paid for the project in full, because he guaranteed that he would be back to make sure everything was to satisfaction. The following week, I contacted the owner with my concerns and he acted surprised on what was remaining to do. I sent pictures and 2 days passed before any response. He sent someone out who completed the finishing concrete around the patio above foundation brick and cut away the excess concrete which was left after forms were removed. The surrounding area could have been cleaned up (pile of dirt and excess concrete off to the side and over back fence), and open holes left in some areas around the foundation brick that should have been filled. When the owner, Brad did come back, I was told they dont do landscaping and that contractors aren't responsible for cleaning surrounding area. I contacted several contractors and was told this is not common practice to leave a job in this condition. My front yard still has concrete sand throughout from where it was initially dumped and transported to the backyard. I understand this is not a jobsite, but I would have thought maybe a protective barrier would be used in a residential project. Due to overage of sand ordered, I had them place the remainder on the side of my house since I had paid for it, where a mound remains. The contractor took back the remainder of brick unused. I have obtained another contractor to clean up and put in new sod, so I'm forced to take a loss on this project. Personally for the high cost for this project, I could have had my driveway poured 2x. I would have expected a much more professional job and end result, and it appears others have had similar complaints. I would never recommend this contractor for ANY project. He talks a big game, but that's all it is. Expensive lesson learned.

If only there was a negative star system.  Contracted to finish a small stone wall.  We provided materials.  The wall is falling over within 6 weeks.  He says it is because we didn't have the right stones, we have water drainage issues, we didn't tell them we wanted it to stand and not fall...okay?!?  The section that previous contractor constructed with the same materials is appealing visually and somehow even with the same drainage stands sturdy.  He said the previous contractor got "all the good rocks".  Actually, the contractor chiseled the stones to fit.  I know because we purchased two stone tools for him and he wore one down.  I tried to tell Lanfried that we have a 5 gallon bucket of chiseled pieces thus proving that the contractor didn't just "use all the good stones", but three times he interrupted me and mocked me so I couldn't finish my sentence.  Apparently, the only thing that he uses a chisel for is the chip on his shoulder.   The yard was left in a mess which I cleaned up.  He agreed with me that even a 5 year old can just stack rocks on top of each other with no integrity.  But we thought we hired a professional mason.  He said it is our fault because we didn't opt for the over $3000 cap stone he offered.  But, once again, the previous wall has no cap stone and remains solid.  With our money in his pocket, and our wall in a crumble, he huffed off to his truck and sped off.  Good riddance!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We hired them to extend our concrete patio. They left our yard in a complete disaster! Piles of mud everywhere, gravel dumped in between our trees, tracks and mud on the sidewalk and street... It was a total destruction of our property. They saw no issue and intended to leave our yard this way. After firmly demanding that they leave our property in the manner in which they found it, the owner yelled at my husband (SO unprofessional) and reluctantly came back to clean it up. He did a SHODDY job at the clean up and had an attitude the whole time. He left the sidewalk and street in a mess, as well as the yard. It took my son and I hours of work to finish his "clean up" job by smoothing out the mounds of dirt and applying more wheat straw. Additionally, the concrete patio has several issues and I have documented those on a "punch list" and will wait to see if they come and fix it. If not, I will be demanding a refund. The patio has areas where the concrete is powdery and there's an area that is not level. Hiring this company was the WORSE decision we made. Please spare yourself the headache and find someone else. If I could give them 0 stars I would. You've been warned!
