He tells me I did horrible on tests, then tells me it’s because I’m depressed and have anxiety. He told me if my memory problems were related to my MS that I would have to be missing half my brain. Then he tells me he doesn’t think I have MS. I’ve been diagnosed with MS for 9 months. I didn’t know he had a MD license. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

I suppose that he did his job well from a clinical standpoint. His manner was abrupt and not what I expected. My largest complaint is that it has been over 2 weeks since my visit and he has yet to send his report to my doctor. Unacceptable.

Dr. Shindell was great with my 89 year old grandmother!! I was concerned after reading some of the reviews but he was kind, considerate and very knowledgeable. He spoke to her instead of addressing me which I loved because she is still the patient. He explained his concerns in detail and I did not feel rushed at all. The staff is also very nice and helpful!!

Steve Shindell is a smart, talented and caring psychologist whom I would not hesitate to recommend. He has a keen ear for details and provides definitive answers, not an endless line of questions. Having seen him for nearly a dozen years, I found him to be a truly helpful, insightful and efficient professional - a rare thing.
