I spoke with the manager Andrea Berg for the 12th street west apartments in midtown. She told me that there would be someone moving out of a one bedroom but there was water damage in there so there would need to be some repairs. The property would be available around the time I was set to move in May. She really talked it up and even gave me an application and wrote all of the information out on it that I would need. She said that she would put down my information for the apartment and stay in contact with me regarding updates for it. I called today, its been about a month to ask for updates on the apartment and she said that she already leased it. I was never contacted about the apartment being available at all. Thats horrible management.

Older property, I personally love Andrea, the property manager. I'll probably stay at this location a while longer, can't beat the price for the location.

Scam, Scam, Scam!!! Haberscam Properties does not care about you!! If you want to throw away $60, then feel free to submit an application. Seems like the normal application fee scam. Will be contacting better business bureau and any other necessary company to file complaints. Places like this should not be allowed to conduct business. Do not give them your money!! I was told to act quick as the place I was interested in would go fast. Lies. Just a lie so youll go ahead and apply and pay that $60. A while after I applied, someone named Ann Story emailed me asking for some personal information. I had no idea who that was. I had to ask to identify who she was and what company she worked for as it was not included in the email, anywhere. Ann Story, this is how you do business? Just some random person emailing asking for my personal information. I did not apply to anyone specific beforehand, therefore how am I supposed to know who this person is from any other scam online. Very unprofessional. Red flag 1. I have emailed and called to follow up on the email since its been weeks with no reply. I have also contacted my previous landlord and work references. Haberscam Properties has contacted no one!! Not one reference has been contacted. They didnt even do what they said they would. How can they be allowed to take application fees and not even do what they say they will! Scam. Red flag 2 After reading the previous comments about how bad it is once you rent one of their properties, Im very relieved that I wont be renting from them. Businesses like this are a disgrace. Blatantly robbing people of money in a time of crisis for most people. They did not at least do the minimum before taking my application money. Its 2021, there is no excuse for businesses like these. If you have any other option, including living in a tent off I-85, do that instead. This place does not deserve your business!

Ive been living in this apartment complex for about 5 or 6 years now and Ive loved it. I have great neighbors and the area is always pretty peaceful. There used to be a lot of stray cats but now there are only about 8 of them and all of them seem to have become the neighborhood cats very friendly and will let you pet them. The trash piling up seems to be an issue but its usually handled pretty quickly. I would recommend Charley Square Apartments to anyone looking for a nice quiet, friendly community.
