I attended my first class and it was not what I expected. I was very excited but the trainer did not support or help at all. She mentioned that there will be another trainer for us to look at while we workout so we can make sure the movements were correct, but it looks like she did not make it. The person at the front desk was not the friendliest. I was hoping this gym would be it for me, but I guess not.

The facility was very clean, the instructor amazing and front desk knowledgeable and engaging. Just a note of caution, Pure Barre runs a lot of promotions and it's incredibly easy to sign up for their classes via an app, but cancelling is another story. Not only do you have to write an email or letter, they will charge you an additional 30 days from the time you submit the email or letter. I purchased a month, took one class and decided it wasn't for me (I really love Pilates reformer but wanted to try something different). On the same day, I tried to cancel via the app and realized there was no way to do so. I called in and came in a few days later and was told to write an email. As a business owner, I believe you should make cancellation as seamless and easy as sign up or it feels a bit scammish. Just my two cents.

I absolutely love Pure Barre Brookhaven!! Several years ago, I was very active in attending Pure Barre in my hometown and wherever I would travel nationwide. Although I have always loved my experiences at all the Pure Barre studios I have ever visited, I truly think Pure Barre Brookhaven is special. I have now taken a class with all of the instructors and they are all so phenomenal and encouraging! This studio is especially inclusive to different ages, races/ethnicities, and body-types, which makes it feel more welcoming than other studios. Kudos to Sarah for cultivating an incredible studio and community at Pure Barre Brookhaven!!!
