This guy had my case for almost 2 years. No word about what was going on with my case so I decided to check up on it. Needless to say they did absolutely nothing on my case. They apologize for not being as attentive as they should have been. Needless to say , almost halfway thru my case, they knew they couldn't proceed but kept the case to almost the end of the statue of limitations were up and decided to drop the case. Now I'm stuck with a case almost 2 years old that most attorneys don't want to touch cause it's close to the statue date. Stay away from this attorney if you want to keep the dignity of your case and win. I don't not recommend them at all.

Me choosing this firm to support black businesses was the worse thing I could have done. They are only active if youre a potential client. Soon as you become an existing client you will barely hear from anyone. Its the lack of communication and confidence in this firm that turned me away. Im 9 months pregnant and have to drive 3 hours to this firm to see about a situation that was suppose to be mailed to me that to this day has not been resolved. I was turned around at the door stating everything was handled in which it has not. This is a prime example of why many chose to NOT support black owned practices or businesses. I hate to report them to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) but there is no way someone who put their trust and money into a business has to go through so many obstacles and the run around. Im not telling anyone what to do but what I would not do is support a business who does not support you.

Editing due to response- I literally have the screenshots from all the messages Ive sent as well as emails. They show no response. Just because I know your name doesnt mean I talked to you. Lets not be stupid. Additionally Im happy I did finally drop you because I did settle my case alone and got over 70k for it. Apparently I need to reach out to the clients you seem to turn your back on and help them too. You guys truly suck and I mean that wholeheartedly.
Once again I played myself with getting an attorney of the same skin color as me and it failed miserably!
I signed up with the firm to take on my slip and fall case. I sent everything from pictures, to videos, to insurance contact info, to reviews online. They wouldnt sign a lien for me to receive treatment so I ultimately couldnt treat. For months they were suppose to get my medical records and still hadnt done so. I reached out multiple times to Shakia, Miracle, Karria and even Robert himself without even getting so much of a call back. Finally I got irritated and sent them an email to stop representing me and what do you knowthey respond back with the quickness with emails and text messages letting me know were sorry to see you go. This is by far one of the worst law firms Ive ever worked with. The insurance company requested medical records months ago and they never sent them! I will never base a decision off making sure my people eat again! This is exactly why we fall short! I will be filing some kind of complaint with the state bar and getting a new attorney or representing myself. My case could have been worth quite a bit of money but instead they screwed it up! Trust someone else with your case if you require communication, due diligence and results. Not these idiots.
