image Ok, not the best. But make sure bring a mask because they are charging you at a Business where they want your business & money, but you charge for a mask. Only in our neighborhood. If I was to go to Douglasville etc theyd be happy to assist & no charge for a mask.

image I really don't want to give a star but I have to, I scheduled an appointment weeks ago and was sent paperwork to be completed prior to my arrival (insurance info, etc.) which I completed and returned. I arrived at least 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment time and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist.
After waiting about 1/2 hour the same friendly receptionist came to me and said thank you for being patient with us someone will be with you shortly. Now 45 minutes later another young lady came to me and stated Ms. Conwell we do not accept your insurance and although she was very polite my time was wasted. I am left wondering why my insurance company referred me to them in the first place. Secondly, why did I have to complete the information prior to my appointment if they couldn't tell me prior to my arrival that my insurance was not accepted, and lastly, why the 45 minute wait. If I had checked the reviews I would not have wasted my time. Please, do better!!

image Have you ever went to a strange place and felt welcomed? My first visit at Family and Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics I felt like I was home. From the front desk to the doctors in the back everyone greeted me with respect and a smile. They all laugh and talk to you as if they have known you forever and you are just now catching up. The thing that I like most is that the staff greets you with a morning meaningful name. Here I don't feel like i'm just another patient, another money sign or another Mr. or Mrs. on their schedule. Yes there is a wait time but what office does not have a wait time? For the love and smiles this office gives I will wait because I wouldn't want to be rushed. They are now my family, my home away from home. I decided that day that I will bring my whole family here. My husband, kids, nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers now attend Family and Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics.

image Hello, my experience with Family and Children Dentistry was horrible. For starter's, I use to bring all three of my kids here for services thirty yrs ago, so it's fair to say that I was with this facility from the start, back then the service my kids then received was good, fast forwarding to now, I have a child whose eleven and has been coming here since she was four. She had oral surgery and when she had to attend her appt six months later, I expressed to the dental hygienist my concerns as to how my daughtertwo front teeth was growing in side ways with an over bite and a gap big enough to put a quarter between them. This particular person told me that she has been doing this for a long time and that's the way it looks but the ending results would be different, I was very uncomfortable with her tone as well as her telling me that what I was looking at wasn't a problem. Giving the place a chance to get my daughter 's mouth right was a bad choice because now her teeth is a hot mess. I asked them about braces, when I feel as though they should have recommended them. They gave me a quote for $150@month , she was five then and when I expressed my concerns about the rate, they ignored me. I expressed to them that I was wondering why I couldn't get any discounts for my daughter, after all, they where the ones who started this dilemma as well as has been receiving my services for thirty years. ( No customer appreciation ). After continuing my service with them It was still bad business. If it wasn't for parents choosing their facility, business wouldn't be that good for thirty years. Me and my kids like other families are apart of their journey. You want the business, yet, you don't show love or compassion to all of your patients. You are not concerned pass medicaid money to assure that people can afford to get the appropriate assistance for their kids pass the medicaid. . I felt some kind of way knowing I allowed them to continue to work on my daughter mouth after I shared my concerns after the oral surgery. I trusted that the lady or whomever knew what she was talking about. Now my daughter has to have two procedures done because of lack of listening to a concerned parent. The women at the front desk are a delight, but pass that, I give them a one and as I stated before, if it wasn't for the professional women scheduling appointments, there wouldn't be any Star. This is me speaking my truth's. I blame myself because I should have followed my first mind. Now my daughter is going to be able to smile with confidence. My daughter use to cover up her smile like my Ciley on the color purple. It took me a long time to build my daughter confidence back up to par. I pray that if you as a parent feel uncomfortable about something to speak up and get the results your seeking. Don't just take anyone words for your concern. I pray that the kids have a great experience with Family and Children Dentistry because mines didn't.
