Dr. Alecia R. Lovelady, MD

If I could give this office an ZERO, I would. I haven't had NO experience with the two doctors there , all because of the STAFF. The office supposedly be open at 9am closes at 5pm. Now tell me why NO ONE ever answer, but the answering service? Then , when I think someone will answer between 2to5 they don't. SMH, ( Frustrated ) . They turn the phones over at 4:30. Wow to say the least !! Just think ,my PCP referred me to this office

A very knowledgeable and compassionate doctor who is good at what she does. The office is nice and her staff/nurses are always pleasant. They definitely come highly recommended by me.

I was referred to Dr Lovelady by a good friend. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. I went for the first visit and that went very well. Unfortunately it went down hill from there. On the first visit I had blood work and a gynecological exam. I received my results from lab Corp. Some of the results I had questions about. I tried to reach out via the portal and calling the office. No response. Finally 2 weeks later I heard from a staff member in the office. She told me that if I have questions about my results I have to make an appointment. So I made an appointment. When I arrived at my appointment today they told me that I had to pay 200 dollars to speak to the dr about test results! They took my blood and vaginal samples and I can't discuss the results without paying 200 dollars! Why can't you call me to discuss my results! Terrible experience!

I have been going to Dr. Lovelady since 2006. She is thorough, knowledgeable, professional, carrying, personable... the list can go on and on. Im so pleased with my service and care there that now my 18yr daughter sees her as well. If youre looking for a gyno with tons of experience and compassion, go see Dr. Lovelady.

I met Dr. A. Lovelady at the edge of death from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. My memory of that experience is fragmented, of course. She not only reminded me of the primary reason for my will to live - my toddler son - but saved my life when it was far too close to the line. I am an exJehovah's Witness and still felt ambivalent about accepting blood at the time. She brought home to me that since I had been bleeding internally for several hours, it had become a life or death choice. Her face and voice and vibe cut through the pain and delirium and allowed me to focus enough to make the right decision. I have never properly thanked her, but her name tag flashed into my mind tonight, many years later. My boy, now 21, and I -we thank you. I have never had any complications from what must have been a difficult surgery. Thank you. Thank you.
