Scheduling/front desk staff is awful. Very condescending. Their bottom line matters more than patient care here. But perhaps that's to be expected.

Dr Harmon is great! I love her attentiveness she gives. She makes me feel like family not just her patient. When I had to have surgery she explained everything from beginning to end and checked in on me after surgery too. A great doctor with a great personality makes a difference. And her nurse Tori is wonderful she definitely fits with Dr Harmon so caring and sweet.

Im sure Dr. Harmon is a great doctor and I was really excited to see her, unfortunately Ill never know. A month ago when renewing my insurance I had my insurance agent hold on completing my policy while I reached out to this office to confirm the insurance would be accepted. I provided the carrier, the exact plan etc to the woman on the phone who advised me which plan to select and assured me it would be accepted. She instructed me to call between my 8-10week mark in my pregnancy and that new OB patient appointments took precedence over others so I would be able to get in. Imagine my surprise today, a month later when another woman, Abby, on the phone immediately says we dont take ambetter in the most dismissive tone. I tried Explaining to her that I called in to confirm and was told that you do and it shows as in-network. I also explained the plan I selected was not the certain plan the woman I spoke to initially said was not accepted. She informs me that they do not accept my insurance for new patients only existing/established patients that might switch over. I could hear the irritation in her voice so I asked nicely if I could please speak to someone else. She transfers me to another woman, Jeanette, who answers without even a hello just what Abby is trying to explain is we dont accept Ambetter for new patients in which Im responding to say I understand and what Im trying to explain is I only selected this plan based off info I was given and trying to be proactive and confirming this all ahead of time. Im not just making this up..they also told me they had some new girls starting recently and they would make sure this info does not get given again. Thats just not good enough. I asked again if there was someone else I could please speak to and she says sure I can transfer you to our manager Michelle but shes going to tell you the same thing. Their tone and attitude was so distasteful and of course Michelle did not answer. I left A voicemail but I have a feeling that call wont be getting returned. This is an awful inconvenience and a huge disappointment as I really went out of my way to make sure I could see this doctor for my first pregnancy. I wish I remembered the First Ladies name I spoke to. :(
