Wells Fargo Home Mortgage

Was pre-approved for a mortgage. Made an offer on a home and the mortgage was not approved. The day they told me they did not approve the loan they proceeded to conduct and charge me for the appraisal. They said they would refund me but haven't so I protested through the credit card company and they fought to have the charge reinstated. Just awful. I continue to talk to them and they continue to say they will get me a refund and then simply don't. Don't trust these people

I recently refinanced my home with this branch. Previous loan holder was WF. After making me jump through the million hoops as expected being self employed I was finally approved. Now 6 months later I'm having to deal with a tax lien on my property due to the not so skeptical look at the HUD statement. Been dealing with WF to pay this out of my escrow for over 3 months. Lol, they just sent me a letter ensuring me the taxes are current with the city even though I have faxed them the 3rd party statement of the lien, yes FAXED, AMATEUR HOUR, BIG COMPANY CANNOT RECEIVE EMAILS. They sent checks to the city 2 months ago for this specific tax, the city returned them due to turning the lien over. WF simply cashed the checks, applied them to my principle without any further follow up. When I called and inquired about the payment, they reply the checks were sent on this date and cashed on this date, no mention that they cashed the checks. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE, USE A CREDIT UNION OR EVEN LENDING TREE BEFORE HERE!
