Max Lager's Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery

The food was mediocre. My $20 burger was overcooked, dry and bland, not to mention a good size chunk of wrapping paper embedded in the patty (see photo). Wings were severely undercooked, to the point it felt like they were unsafe to eat. Out of three IPAs on the menu, they had 0 available. It's a brewery, seriously? Place was occupied at maybe 25% at best for the whole time we were there, but the host made us feel like he was doing us a huge favor for sitting us without a reservation.

The service was quick but the crispy fried shrimp wasn't so good. It was cooked in old grease. I only ordered shrimp and fried cheese cake they both were mediocre I've had better. Over priced for the blandness

Food was good but we had to wait 50 minutes and several attempts to get our bill.
