        I visited Institut DERMed Spa for the first time today. I have young children so I am often visiting the childrens shops next door so was curious about this place. I decided to book myself a facial. Let me start by saying, my esthetician was extremely friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. We had a consultation and I said my main reason for being there was for relaxation purposes. Unfortunately, my facial was brutal! I felt as though my face was being scrubbed with sandpaper the entire time. It was the most unrelaxing spa experience of my life. I did not say anything because I didnt want to be rude since she was a very nice person. When I got home, my husband asked if I had been burned. My cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead are rubbed raw, red, irritated, and tender. The pictures do not do it justice. Side note, we did no extractions, so this is purely from extremely harsh exfoliation. I will not be returning to this place.
