Pediatric Health Center of Dunwoody

I have nothing but good things to say about this practice, the Doctors and staff treated us like family. We are saddened to see this practice closed, thank you for everything I really appreciate the doctors input and concern at every appointment.

Rude and unreasonable front desk staff. I am a paediatrician myself, with my office being located in Jamaica. I had a patient who was co-managed between myself and this centre and some further information was requested. Instead of the front desk staff or the paediatrician for that matter requesting the information from me directly, the patient was told to obtain a physical hard copy of the entire file itself and nothing else would be accepted. That isn't in keeping with any AMA or international protocols with regards to patient records or referrals. My email was given to that office to request the relevant information directly and no request was forthcoming. When I as that patients doctor took the time and on my own dime made an international call to clarify the issue, I was met with the same cursory response that a hard copy of the entire file would be the only document accepted. When I suggested that a summary letter from me should be more than appropriate, I was rudely cut off and transferred to the manager, where the matter was resolved by someone less ignorant. Your front desk staff would never speak to the pediatricians who work there in that manner. My practice being in another country doesn't make me any less qualified or undeserving of their respect.
