We attended the Exploring Curry/ Massaman Curry class with Chef Sunisa Somnuek.
Chef Sunisas style, delivery and knowledge of the content is extraordinary. Her life time of cooking these remarkable dishes, her family stories and her treasure trove of family recipes, are infectious. Chef Sunisas ability to connect with her class and facilitate delicate cooking principals is the high point of the evening. 90% percent of this class was hands on cooking, 5% percent lecture and 5% eating what you prepared!
For Chef Sunisa, how you prepare and what you create are the most important part. What was so refreshing was this class wasnt a commercial for cookware, gadgets or supplies. It was about the journey and reward of creating a wonderful meal with these treasured recipes and skills. And yes, our tables Curry and Chicken Satay was TD4 (to die for).
We will be back for more classes.
They staff the warehouse with a team to allow you to shop after the class. Tali was such a lovely and charming help to us- even recommended a fine Mediterranean Restaurant!
While we were there we took advantage of the discount the Warehouse gives you for attending the class. I left with a Smithy Wok and some dishtowels, because hey, who doesnt need more dishtowels?
My highest recommendation I can give.
BRAVO to Chef Sunisa and Tali.

I'll disclose this on the front end of this review: I am NOT a cook. I know how to boil an egg (but no guarantee it will be cooked properly) and make a bowl of cereal, but that about does it for my culinary skills. When a good friend indicated that he wanted a set of good knives for the kitchen, I knew I had found a perfect birthday gift for him. So hard to buy anything for our guy friends! But THEN ... it dawned on me that there was no one in a worse position to find such a set of knives. He would have been better off asking for unicorn treats (at least then we both would have been in on the joke). So I did what most of us in-town Atlantans do and went to Cook's Warehouse at Ansley Mall. I stared at the knife display for a while, eventually picking up the most expensive set, thinking surely the most expensive set would be the best set, right? By the way, in case you are wondering, there were plenty of employees around whom I could have asked, but I was too embarrassed to admit - in a cooking store! - that I had no idea what I was doing. When I went to check out, I asked Eric, the nice salesperson, what he thought of these very fancy knives, using my most "we-all-know-that-these-luxury-knives-are-the-best-right?" tone of voice. Well, Eric told me immediately that these knives were most definitely NOT the best knives, in fact they had plastic handles and the sheath of the knives didn't even go halfway down the handle, giving them a cheap-ish feel and making them prone to breakage. He walked me back to the knife display and handed me a set that was less than HALF of the "luxury" (as in luxury priced!) knives and told me, girl, these are the ones you want. THESE are the best. Not only that, the set had an incorrect price on them - about $50 less than they should be (tag was left over from a Christmas promotion) - but he honored the lower price. Cook's Warehouse may have lost about $300 (the difference in price from the "luxury" knives + $50), but they have gained a customer for life and this five-star review! Customer service and selection cannot be beat anywhere in the city. Thank you Eric - I can't wait to give them to my friend on his birthday! Next year he'll be confident I can find those unicorn treats. ;)

I'd live here if they would let me - really. From the fun cooking classes to dependable products this is a place that just gets the creative cooking juices flowing. Sometimes I just go in to look around and before ya know it, an hour has passed. Ahhhhhhhh
