After being a customer for approximately 20, years with no late payments and no claims filed, my age as a senior would not allow me to keep the same policy. I chose not to start a new life insurance policy with State Farm, including any auto insurance. During July of 2023 - I faxed in the proper documentation to receive the cash surrender amount, also by email a month later. I visited the State Farm office in September, 2023 also afterwards talked to an array of representatives with excesses including Cleo Meyer thereafter. No refund payment received as of January, 2024 so I filed a complaint through the insurance Commission of Georgia. I will be filing action in the Superior Court of Fulton County for full payment including interest, as soon as the investigation is completed. I wonder if I was treated this way because I didn't continue a new policy? 8 of my relatives will not continue their policies. I sued an Allstate Insurance Agent, 1995 Windy Hill Rd, for a policy violation a few years ago in the Gwinnett County State Court . Great investigation by the insurance Commissioner! Fredrick Douglas mentioned" Where there is no struggle, there is no progress". So sad how the good customers are treated, especially seniors.
