Super convenient for the zoo and aquarium. Clean, friendly, helpful staff. Gated underground onsite garage parking with security attendant at night as well as security in the lobby. Doors remain locked 24/7 which is also nice. Only complaint is that blackout curtains didnt span the whole window, only covered bedroom portion but city lights kept my husband awake from kitchen end. Otherwise was a 5 star stay, and price was great!

I'm a travel agent and booked a room for a client on April 6, 2024, for their check in of April 7th - April 8th. When my client arrived, there seemed to be some sort of issue with the room in regard to payment which I understand can happen. But what I don't understand is the rudeness and disrespect my client received from an employee named Aaliyah (maybe spelled wrong but the name still holds wait). There is NO reason why my client was rudely approached and then informed that they don't take cash when it comes to incidentals. That's an obvious statement because what hotel does? Then not having a kind heart or a since of urgency to help my client handle the issue of payment was uncalled for. I proceeded to call the front desk myself and spoke with her. She did inform me that the card was not charged the day before as it should have been, and I told her she can run the card now. She then said, "Okay thanks" and hung up the phone. I don't know how often she works & maybe she was having a bad day but just be cautious of anyone named Aaliyah!

Stayed here for one night. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown. Close to lots of restaurants and things to do downtown. You can walk to so many things from here. Decent view of the downtown skyline and the room is spacious for 2-4 people. I had a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa. The kitchenette was cute and clean. Perfect for ordering in and needing to warm up food. I am not a fan of hotels that have the big reusable bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. I miss the mini items that used to be on the sink. The biggest drawback is the horrific parking. The parking lot is tighter than a turtleneck on a turtle. If the hotel had been packed I would not have stayed here if I had to park. Luckily the parking lot was not packed and I was able to squeeze into a spot. It is literally only big enough for one car to drive through but the walls say two way traffic. The room was almost $200 for the night but came with breakfast. I liked the view and I liked being downtown, but the parking was a huge dealbreaker for me and it cost $30/night. Stayed here with a group under a group block. Check in was horrific. The young lady was short and rude. Called the front desk to ask a question and the next person on shift, Tanya, was even ruder. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Nearby activities: Lots to do in the area in walking distance Safety: Make sure you have good car insurance Walkability: Lots to do in the area in walking distance Food & drinks: Breakfast was okay
