Minute Suites ATL Concourse B, Near B16

The good: Employee at the desk was kind, professional, and efficient. Everything else: The space is in need of a complete refresh. The walls are dirty. The trim is old and cracking. The television was caked with dust. Missing light bulbs. Volume control for the overhead speaker was broken and would occasionally static. The little Alexa speaker device was not set up. I use Minute Suites as a Priority Pass member, where they advertise pillows and blankets in the rooms. No amenities were present, nor were they offered at check-in.

Woken up multiple times by construction noises in in the middle of the night

I visited the Minute Suites at ATL B16 in the early hours of Sunday, March 24 (5a -730a). The attendant (Ms. Cannady) was pleasant and competent. I have stayed here a few times and I think these rooms are way overdue for a refresh. Very unfortunately I got the room closest to the check in desk. The door doesn't even come close to having a tight seal. It's so off that light and sounds enter easily from the sides and the bottom. I attempted to address it by bunching the blanket up on the floor at the threshold. The room and furnishings are tired and older but the worst part of the room is that it isn't even remotely sound proof. I could hear the alarm go off and soft voices of the people in the room ajoining mine. I could easily hear the airport announcements "this is the mayor, welcome to Atlanta Hartsfield!" over and over. Minute Suites is a great concept and I don't mind paying ($143.10!!) but peace and quiet should be their top priority for that or any price. They need to replace or upgrade the cubicles. I suggest a Minute Suites executive try sleeping in the unit I rented and see what they think.....
