    No communication with family. Did not follow hospital discharge orders back to assisted living facility. No record of required charting by staff. Different story every time we spoke with someone. Did not follow COVID-19 protocols in place at assisted living facility.

    The personnel relationship between family and the representatives from the company are terrible. A simple request numerous times from caregivers (Family) to give a simple call before coming can not be accomplished. Even a argument from a rude therapist is all response that we received. Even the last contact with this low rated group was to our 90+ year old Mother. I would not recommend this group to anyone. So sad that communication is such a simple request. Oh yes he was told to leave and not return and still had a attitude in the slow exit after being asked to go. Never again will this happen here.

    The administrative staff is completely incompetent. They called the stroke patient dozens of times instead of calling the caretaker. It took them weeks to change the number to correctly schedule. We had to dismiss two of the three people Guardian sent due to unprofessionalism. One person made the patient wait for over 4 hours before completely canceling (the day before Thanksgiving, thus keeping us from doing any shopping or prep work). Same OT then offered another day and was late again after we waited for their inconvenient two-hour window. Another home health speech therapist was so unbearable that I am shocked she is employable. She is rude, loud, and bossy - exactly the opposite of how our family behaves. She heavily sighed impatiently when I asked her to update the patients medicine. She chided the patient repeatedly and treated her like a burden. In fact, she treated her entire employment as a burden, informing us that we must wait for her to schedule with us before scheduling other services because she is somehow more important than others who work for Guardian. When we terminated her, she didnt even inquire as to what she did that was so off-putting. However, she has been told by others many times, Im told. Worst bedside manner of all time - yet wanted us to know how educated she is. I nearly laughed aloud as she talked down to us since everyone in our family has a higher level of education. I have never met a more abrasive human. I would highly recommend she choose a new industry if stroke patients are too difficult to handle. The up side is Lee, the PT. He is always on time, incredibly kind, and absolutely lovely. If I could rank him, I would give him a perfect 10.
