Midtown International School

We have been at MIS since it opened, and my kids feel so lucky to be learning there. The classes are small so attention is individualized. The staff truly know and care about my children. My kids feel safe, respected, challenged, and cherished. And they get to go on independence-building, eye-opening, amazingly fun trips every year! We had zero problems transitioning to middle and high school because the environment is so inclusive. As a parent, witnessing that development of an empathetic and open mindset has been truly one of the most important outcomes in our current day.

Our experience at M.I.S has been great, my child has attended for 6 years and it feels like a home away from home. The teachers are truly invested in my daughter's education and her growth as a well-rounded person.  I love M.I.S because of the smaller class sizes and adjustments made as needed to meet my child's needs. This school is wonderfully diverse and has a strong parent association that works closely with the school and both parties are dedicated to the school's success. Children have the opportunity to travel to great places such as France, Spain, Peru, Guatemala, and even Greenland.  Trips give them the language immersion they need to truly appreciate the foreign languages they are learning. Younger students take trips to Savannah, Washington D.C., and other exciting cities.  It's a small school with a big impact.
