The only reason for the extra star is because of the founder's vision. This school isn't doing nearly enough during Covid-19 and is definitely not worth the money. Bayless Fleming really needs to learn customer service skills and should seek out retail to do so not a school with sensitive, needy kids. Bayless is the last straw in a list of grievances as she is bossy, condescending and was RUDE to parents with questions. The curriculum online is confusing and hard to use and in person there isn't nearly enough social distancing. Gordon Mathis is supposed to be in community engagement and still acts the same as the ineffective management he showed in the 1990's. Go ahead and Feel free to look up "David Rich history teacher North Carolina High Point Man" the ex history teach at Galloway if you want a sobering read. Rich was creepy back then and it was reported. Still trying to figure out what happened with Dr. Calleroz White at the school he was at that was sued. The only decent person here in my opinion is Sam Biglari a genuine good person. Signed, a concerned teacher.

Galloway has been a great fit for both of my children who currently attend. One came from High Meadows to 9th at Galloway and the other came from Homeschooling to 9th at Galloway.  My kids could not be more different yet have both thrived with the caring teachers and laid back student body. They focus on learning at Galloway. Sounds simple but that's not always how things are at school. Many times the focus is on teaching or test taking. My kids are inspired and encouraged to find their own path. I'm grateful every day I am able to send my kids there. It is worth the financial sacrifice.

This is a great school that is stuck with some bad new and old staff. Think of them as rotten teeth. One that comes to mind is the political science teacher named Sam Biglari. He's opinions force freshman in highschool to follow a certain political opinion that fits his bill. Galloway used to be a school for any kind of smart open mind, but if your conservative, I would be careful taking your kid through this program.
