Review by @SoldByMarvin on All Social Media Hands-down the best option for African food in all of Gwinnett. We are a 100% strict vegan family so upon moving to Atlanta a few years ago we were disappointed that we could not enjoy some of the west African food we grew up on because often times many traditional west African dishes contain some animal byproducts even if it appears to be a vegetable dish. This restaurant has changed that narrative by offering a separate 100% vegan menu of African dishes reimagined. The owner is incredibly nice and patient and will help you pick from their numerous menu offerings depending on what your palate is interested in. Disclaimer alert we are vegan as I mentioned early in this review so we cannot speak to any menu item outside of the ones that are 100% vegan. She offers every menu item in a pre-packaged to-go fashion so You can re-create the delicious dishes on the menu from the comfort of your home with easy to understand instructions. I love that this restaurant also offers a Seamoss smoothie and you can purchase many other wellness items as well. So whether youre palette enjoys traditional African dishes like goat meat or beef stew or you follow a strict vegetarian aka vegan lifestyle. The entire family can enjoy this Restaurant. We highly recommend the items in the photo posted if you are a first time visitor. Nothing that we tasted was overly spicy so that was a great thing but the flavors were still there for sure and it took us back to the motherland. Please call ahead before you visit as she often times caters events so its best to call the restaurant number to verify her hours of operation the day you plan to visit.

I love this restaurant I go everytime I am in the stone mountain area! I always get the egusi with chicken quarters and white yam fufu. I also get her seamoss gel which is great quality! She is very nice and friendly everytime I go. I recommend her to anyone that wants to try Africa food I even posted her on my Facebook with her number so more people can try it and have it delivered to them!!

Let me start by saying, Im still going to try the food Being Ive never eaten here, I dont know if the food is good or not. I check the reviews for any establishment that I eat at. But Im disturbed, being a business owner myself, You absolutely cant fight and name call anyone in a response. This owner instead of apologizing to make things right for reputation reasons, they take their time to individually attack those who have an opinion about their establishment. This is not the way to be, especially if you want new customers, whom many, are like me, who look at comments and reviews first, ESPECIALLY those on the owner. Please my sister, You have to have the right mindset before responding to people the way you do. This is not a review on your establishment, I will not do that to you. But merely a word of advice, to watch everything you say, remain positive always, even when you feel youre being tested. I will update my review once Ive eaten at the establishment.
