At the risk of this sounding like a Hair Club For Men commercial; I'd like to say that having worked with/for Bob in the past--and now being a customer--that the patience, care and skill with which he approaches his craft is unparalleled. Even though I don't work in the furiniture/cabinet industry any longer, I've taken the lessons I've learned from Bob and used them to my advantage in my career in tech. So, not only was I an employee, but I'm also a customer, and a very satisfied one at that.

Bob is a true craftsman. I had an old Eames-style chair that has been in the family for decades and was in desperate need of revival. Bob happily tackled the project and exceeded my expectations. Did a beautiful job and recommended an upholster who charged a reasonable price and also did great work! My chair was finished on time and is back to new! Couldnt be happier! Bob just completed an amazing restoration of our 1959 Lane Acclaim coffee table. The colors in the wood now show a lot more contrast and the pattern really pops (see before and after photos). I contacted Bob via his website and he responded the same day to start discussing the scope of work and quote. The table is too wide for my car, so Bob included in the quote pick-up and delivery of the table and did both trips himself! I had a great experience with Bob and highly recommend him and his excellent restoration skills. Our coffee table is just gorgeous and I couldn't be happier.

Robert Schmidt is the man you can trust to perform demanding wood restorations on fine piano cabinets. He successfully removed scratches in the fall board, returning it a flawless state. He knows wood like few others, is a great communicator, and insists on client satisfaction. I recommend him without hesitation for any wood restoration project!

I recently had Robert refinish a treasured cherry coffee table. The splendid beauty revealed by Roberts impeccable work defies words to describe it. And Robert is such a nice man!
