Tried for multiple days to resolve an issue for a purchase. Every time I called I got different information or a different version of them telling me they weren't willing to solve the problem.

By far my favorite shop to visit. Great staff, knowledgeable, helpful, patient. Top Of the line gear, family feel, yearly events. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend you stop in to check out the gear any time of year for tight lines!

My girlfriend and I have been interested in fly fishing for the past few months. I ordered my own rod online from another retailer before realizing this place existed and regret it. I bought a rod over the phone for her and she went in to pick it up. They helped in person with fly and tackle selection. Thanks to Bob in particular. She had nothing but good things to say about y'all!

These are just the best people. To a noob, Fly Fishing feels intimidating, inaccessible, and like some kind of old man ninja art. Its the furthest from that, though, and the folks here at The Fish Hawk will chat you up and get you sorted. I have yet to encounter a hard sell. Sometimes I feel like I should buy something before I leave since they spent an hour or more just sharing information. These people are truly a community gem.
