The wonderful and magnificent Mable Lemma at Abacus Staffing placed me at a well respected world-renowned organization within THREE DAYS! Mable was a God-send, she walked me through the process every step of the way, never dropping the ball not once, her dedication and professionalism ABSOLUTELY amazing! I give Abacus Staffing TWENTY STARS, Mable's attention to detail and efficiency THE BEST! I highly recommend Abacus Staffing for all your staffing needs!

For a place that's here to assist in employing professionals, they sure lack in professionalism- SEVERELY! I can only speak to my own experience so here's why this is my 1 star review, sadly there are no options for zero stars.... Found this company while searching Google for staffing agencies. I reached out to their headquarters and came across a lovely lady who directed me to the Atlanta office. I reached out to the number she provided and spoke to a lady named Cara (Recruiter), she encouraged me to apply and onboarded me for a position at an institution who's requirements were that you provide certain documentation and that you be an actual resident of Georgia. I wasted a ton of time following all of her ridiculously long assignments for application (practically 2 days worth of back and forth emails and document signing and online submissions and calling the IRS in Atlanta). Again, she encouraged me knowing I'm relocating to Georgia but still a resident of Ohio! After the initial call I proceeded to follow the application process and soon after came across several issues: - When asked for my state of residence and the state I'm seeking employment in (2 separate questions), in the background check questionnaire, I needed help in sorting out how to respond to those 2 questions because obviously I was being cautious not to raise any unnecessary red flags in the hiring process and wanted to remain honest. - When trying to enter their site to ensure all my I's were dotted and that my T's were crossed, I was "sent a code" to be able to login, I never received it. When I asked Cara via email what to do she sarcastically simply replied: I don't know what "code" your talking about! This reply came after I explained in detail what I was referring to- I emphasize this is for their own company website applicant portal. Pretty sure it's part of a recruiters roll to assist in login issues and to know their company products and services. - When requesting a Tax Clearance Letter from the state of Georgia (also a requirement of the employer), I was locked out of my account and had called their customer support number (a bunch of transfers and hold times later) I learned that I wasn't going to be able to get that document because I'm not a resident of that state. I have emails to prove that Cara still encouraged me to continue the application process! So, I called a couple of times trying to reach this Cara person again who encouraged me to apply and promised to be just a phone call away if I needed help, every time I called I was either placed on hold or promised a call back which never happened. Finally wanting to simply move along, I spoke to a female whose name I didn't get. This female very unprofessionally and practically condescendingly told me that Cara was not in as of yet that morning and that she was new and didn't know what she was doing and that because of the requirement to live in that state, she would've had to have a strong conversation with Cara about residency requirements. She said this when she noticed that Cara had already submitted my application to the employer for consideration. While there were several emails exchanged between Cara and I, she was never professional in greeting me despite my utmost professionalism when addressing her, the emails would sit unreplied to for unsavory lengths of time, what I emailed about and the response she gave were never fully aligned (suggesting she didn't focus or pay attention) and of course no apologies were ever made, as would be the appropriate behavior from a "RECRUITING PROFESSIONAL". Her last email to me stated (in sarcastically bold letters) that I had to be a Georgia resident. I emphasize that she encouraged me to continue follow through on the application. My response was exactly that- she encouraged me to apply and I asked the question about where would I be left if the employer chose to proceed with me... I'm still awaiting a response despite them "submitting my application" I wish they had considered my time and efforts better, very unprofessional!
