V. Rutledge Forney, M.D.

I wish I could recommend this office because Dr. Forney herself is a wonderful doctor. Her office staff, however, is downright rude. Making an appointment feels like you are begging and they act as if you are lucky to get one. I recently called to make an appointment with Dr. Forney and was told that if I did not see a PA instead, I would have to wait six months. This is not typical for this practice and the scheduling nurse was short & rude to me.  The check-in desk has been consistently rude. A smile or kind word isn't too much to ask as the first person a patient encounters. Not here. There are too many good doctors in Atlanta to be treated so poorly as a patient. A shame that such a good doctor has chosen such a terrible support staff.

After a failed visit to the Alpharetta offices of Dermatology Affiliates, I saw Dr. Forney on my second visit. Dr. Forney showed care and concern for my condition and attempted to do several things to make it right. I returned two days later because the initial treatment didn't work, and again, Dr. Forney thoroughly examined my skin, and completed other treatments to hopefully get to the bottom of whatever my issue is. Dr. Forney made me feel like she truly cared and wanted to help resolve my issues. I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you, Dr. Forney. I appreciate everything you are doing to help me.

My experience with Dr. Forney has been excellent. She is straightforward and understanding. I consider her a valuable part of my medical care team. I have had a lot of interactions with doctors of all kinds throughout my lifetime and I can honestly say that she is one of the best.

You are hustled "in" and "out" as quickly as possible.  If you have questions about your medicine/s, good luck at calling in.  I have been trying got THREE days to talk to a human being with no luck.NOT IMPRESSED.
