Horrible experience. I hired Mr. Arca and regretted it from day one. He didn't even show up to my bond hearing. The female attorney who showed up didn't even know I was indicted and the judge had to make a correction on the record. And to make it worse she didn't even talk to me before the hearing, I just ended up sitting next to a complete stranger who knew nothing about my case asking me questions during the hearing like what do you want me to ask the judge for.... I was so shocked I didn't even know what to say. You would think professionalism would have lent to speaking about things like that before the hearing. So needless to say the judge denied the reduction of the bond. To make matters worse my dad bonds me out of jail, he ignored my calls for 2 months. When I finally got a hold of him it was because I had to run him down and his secretary was saying he was on vacation and he told me, and you can't even make this up, that "You know I'm on vacation like normal people." FOR 2 MONTHS????? Stay away at all costs. He ran off with $10,000 and to be honest I'm not even mad because I'm going to beat my case and sue the state and they will be paying for the legal fees I just don't want anyone else to fall prey to this horrible attorney and his words. He fell short of every expectation I had for him. I told him I needed communication and he didn't do that plain and simple. And to think he thought it was prudent to ask me for 30k more is laughable.
