If you dont have an older house, dont bother calling them. If the business openly turned down work because they intentionally cater to a niche market (houses built before 1950s), that is understandable. However it is underhanded to take your money and make promises on deliverables and then NOT produce designs or quotes. I guess they produce beautiful work if you can get them to do it, or if you trust them to do it?

We were incredibly pleased with our experience working with Round Here Renovations. Our project ended on time (even a few days early) and on budget- two things almost unheard of when discussing renovation projects with friends. RHR was also very competitively priced compared to the other two quotes we received. For reference, we renovated our upstairs adding a new bedroom and en suite bath, an existing bathroom and added an upstairs laundry room. Dan and Mason, our project manager, worked with us to make our renovation turn out exactly as we imagined. Their attention to detail and high standards with their tradesman were much appreciated. On the rare occasion when we would walk through and notice something amiss, Mason had already noticed and had plans in place to fix it. We received frequent communications from Mason throughout the project, and he stopped by every day to check on progress and keep things moving. We also appreciated the care they took to protect our 125 year old home and to incorporate the historic charm into the new addition making the space feel consistent. We cannot say enough good things about our experience and our working relationship with Dan and Mason. We would highly recommend them to others and would use them for future projects.

Charged $2,150 to produce a quote for a two story extension to our 1910 bungalow. Never produced the quote, even after extending the deadline by several months. Refused to refund the $2,150. Would not recommend working with this firm.
