I appreciate the zoom session for the new
ASN program that is being offered in Atlanta. After speaking to a Cambridge rep to learn more about the process, I realized that what you are told on the phone isn't accurate and doesn't match what they inform you during the zoom session.
After attending the session, I'm left puzzled as to why this program is $49,000. That's for an associates degree in nursing; Not a bachelor's. Youre more than likely would not be able to work and go to school since there is no flexibility in classes. You're informed to make sure you're free Mon-Fri between the hours of 8am-6:30pm in case you have class and or clinical. You're still on campus around 4-6 hrs a day. Its located in Atlanta where traffic is crazy. You still have to take your TEAS and the program is still about 24
months
To top it off, the program is new so most are taking a chance on the quality of education because there isn't a graduating class yet...
I understand the high demand for nurses. I can almost see why private schools price gough, but that tuition is borderline insanity. What exactly is the incentive in going to this program vs another program that's not as expensive and is flexible for students?

I have had the pleasure to meet with Rene the new echo lab instructor and because of her I have a better understanding and knowledge of the modality. She has gone above and beyond to be sure we have all the tools needed to do well and as a student that is very much appreciated. It is instructors like her that make all the difference!!!

This review is for the echo lab instructor Renae. She is one of the best instructors I have had here at cambridge. She made a wonderful first impression and really cares about our success. She knows how to split up her time and give every student the attention they deserve. She would an amazing option for our echo lecture instructor.

Greetings, On behalf of Cambridge College of Healthcare and Technology I strongly recommend Ms.Renee as the new Echo Instructor for the DMS Program. She is patient and very knowledgeable about the heart and healthcare! She is a joy to learn from and work with and she will get us ready for the field 100 percent. Echo is a very serious job and because of her willingness and experience she should be strongly considered and accepted for the role! Many other students and staff agree as well.

My Review is regarding the new Echocardiographic lab teacher that will hopefully be starting to teach our Echo pathway classes. Her name is Renae and she is one of the best instructors Ive had in all my schooling years. The reasoning behind this is for one I am very big one first impressions, Miss Renae exceeded my expectations not only as an individual but also as an instructor. She insists that we call her by her first name which in my book is a level of respect you dont usually see nowadays. She does not think of herself as better than us but equal to us. Miss Renae not only gets to our lab an hour early to help people struggling but also stays after our second class which is two hours after hers and continues to stay more hours till 3:30! Ive only had a couple of instructors in my past willing to give up so much of their own free time in order to see students succeed. I am writing this review because I would love to have Miss Renae as an instructor and I truly think she can get students to grasp echocardiography which in itself is a difficult class. And lastly I would like to say her demeanor and confidence gives not only me but my other classmates the confidence to keep going and not give up. With her to have been working in the hospital setting for the past 16 years gives us an extra edge on whats going on currently with all the updates to scanning and allows us to learn all the tips and tricks she uses as a echo sonographer. I also really enjoy the amount of compliments she gives us while critiquing our work. Thank you Miss Renae!!
