Joe's Coffeehouse EAV

UPDATE: Sadly, the new owner of Joe's has ruined the place. She continually berates her employees in front of customers (not a one-off as our entire neighborhood Facebook page is talking about how rude she is. New employees are simply asking questions and getting slammed.) Stopped going there several months ago. This is how you do a coffee shop. My decaf mocha was spot on and the muffin hit the spot. There was a slight wait only because so many people were in line. Definitely worth it. I'd hang out here every day if I could : )

Hometown coffee shop vibe with good art and no frills. The opposite of the yuppie coffee shops popping up all over town :) - lots of vegan pastries available, too! Vegetarian options: Everything from Flour + Time is vegan and delicious.

Great coffee! Got to love a place that serves coffee that is good enough to drink black. Comfy and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend.

We have been coming here for years and this was a great local shop until the previous owners left. The new owner is unfortunately quite rude and unprofessional. While we were waiting to order AND waiting for our drinks, she repeatedly reprimanded the sole employee loudly and in front of all of the customers. It made me uncomfortable as a customer and probably embarrassed the poor kid behind the counter. Not sure I will continue to support Joe's considering the negative, in my opinion, changes. I gave two stars simply because their drinks are tasty, otherwise it would have been one.
