Im very pleased with the finished Ready to Wear Couture. The owner stayed in touch with me consistently with any updates or to help address my needs. The quality of the gowns and the designs will leave you flabbergasted. Money well spent!

As previous reviews have stated, please do not rely on Colin Couture for any of your occasions. We have had prom consult dates where he was a no-show. The first prom consultation was on November 12th & we arrived at the location on time and rung the doorbell. No response. We waited 15 more minutes and still no-show. We decided to go to his other location even though in the email it specified that we were at the right location. All the lights were off at both buildings. About one hour after the scheduled appointment, he called back stating that he was at the fabric store. He apologized and asked us to please reschedule and even proposed to take off another $100 for the prom dress consult. We were pretty skeptic but we agreed on December 3rd being the next prom consultation. This December 3rd appointment was at 11:00am and we arrived on time. We rung the doorbell, waited, and he did not show again. The lights were also off as well. I feel like its very disrespectful of our time and money to deal with this (& these occasions were only CONSULTS). If you have an occasion, I would advise to spend your money elsewhere as Colin Turner Couture simply does not bother to be considerate of their customers.

This man is beyond amazing! He made my daughter's dress for her prom and did a awesome job. Very professional and kept me updated on everything (dress status). Sometimes you get designers/artists that don't like to be bothered while the work is being done. Not Colin:) I will definitely be back for my bday dress:)

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! & If you are an IMPATIENT or INSTANTLY IRATE individual definitely DO NOT consult with this individual. My daughter and I had a consult on 2/19/22 for a dress to be made for her prom which was on 5/7/22. Paid $100 for consult and put down $600 on the dress, the remainder would be paid on her fitting day which was verbally agreed btwn myself and the Merchant. (first red flag) After 4 weeks of no contact, I reached out to this individual regarding the status of the dress and he didn't even remember who we were. Had to look though whatever to find our consult info, measurements and figure out who we were. (REALLY?) Between Feb and May, I was not contacted NOT ONE TIME by this individual initially. I did all of the contacting and reaching out. As a business man, your customers should never have to consistently reach out to you regarding services or update statuses. He posts on Instagram majority of day while knowing dresses ppl paid on for paid for WILL NOT BE MADE AS PROMISED. I consistently followed up on the status of my daughter's dress via text for documentation purposes and was assured that her dress would be done prior to 5/7/22. Well today is 5/9/22 and we NEVER RECEIVED HER PROM DRESS AND STILL HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM. MY DAUGHTER'S PROM HAS COME AND GONE. Never even got called in to be fitted. If I wasn't smart enough to get my daughter another dress made by a more trusted designer after that 1st red flag, my daughter would've been devastated and missed her prom due to the negligence and carelessness of this individual. How and why would you destroy a young woman's once in a lifetime moment by taking hard earned money and not rendering services? No calls, No updates, NO NOTHING. If I would have not consistently reached out to this individual, I would've never heard from him. Of course I reached out today regarding him refunding my money and haven't heard back. I have a family full of attorneys and now have to deal with this the legal way which could've been avoided. To all the customers who actually received a dress (YOU'RE LUCKY). To anyone who's new here, I would not recommend this individual. Even despite of the previous negative reviews I read of women who also experience his negligence, I STILL gave him a chance. Do not risk disappointing your daughters on their special day because they don't deserve this and they'll never forget it. GOD BLESS
