Dr. Loungani is an awesome doctor, and his staff is equally awesome. I have a rare genetic condition that most doctors know very little about, but Dr. Loungani is very familiar with my condition. It allows me to rest easy knowing that the treatment plan Dr. Loungani has me on is really going to help. He takes the necessary time with his patients and listens to their concerns. I never feel like he is rushing me out the door to get to another patient.

The concern, care and attention given to me from my first visit with Dr. Loungani and his Staff has been exemplary. I cannot say enough about the cordial way I'm treated by every person. Dr. Loungani comes to my appointment fully prepared and most importantly, HE LISTENS. What a concept. I'm grateful to have this Clinic caring for me.

Dr. Loungani earned his medical degree at Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed his internal medicine residency in the Osler Medical Training Program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He went on to complete fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology at Duke University Hospital. He also completed a research fellowship at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. Dr. Loungani specializes in Cardiomyopathy, Advanced Heart Failure, and Cardiac Transplantation. He additionally has a special interest in caring for patients with Cardiac Amyloidosis. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and most recently board certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. He is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and exploring his new home in Georgia.
