I went to this bridal shop looking for a wedding dress and I would not recommend. I originally had a lot of issues scheduling to begin with and when I was at my appointment the stylist spoke to me in a condescending way. At one point the stylist called me kiddo, I know I am young but no bride should be referred to as kiddo. The stylist continued to answer questions for me when my group would ask such as Does the dress feel heavy? she responded no but I felt it was. At one point she put me in a fitted dress that I didnt feel as comfortable in and I mentioned privately some of my insecurities in that dress which she decided to bring up to the entire group. Then the stylist also commented on the fact that she didnt like me in a fitted dress. My sister then went to talk to the front desk and the manager came over to take over my appointment but at that point it was too late. After feeling spoken down too and criticized I just wanted to leave. The manager did apologize and was planning on taking over but I still left in tears.

So I have been really nervous about trying on bridal gowns that wouldnt fit me or make me look any good. Had a 11am appointment and brought my mom and my best friend. My stylist was Jasmine. At first I was a little hesitant with all the questions she was asking me because I was not sure if they would look good. I have to admit, she knew what she was doing. She pulled a couple of dresses of the style I wanted and even tried to get me to try other style just to get a feel if I would like another design. We both agreed in the rooms which dress looked the best. She truly made me feel at ease and I ended up with 2 favorite dresses. When we finally added the veil and bouquet, literally broke me into tears because I found the dress I wanted. I said yes! To that dress. Incredibly beautiful!! I would recommend this place to anyone and also Jasmine. She was awesome!! The employees there were really nice and sweet. Not sure about the other reviews but my visit to Anya Bridal was great.

I said yes to the dress at Anya! After trying on close to 30 dresses at 3 other shops, I finally found MY dress thanks to Alicewho encouraged me to try on one last dress. I didnt like it on the hanger but once I put it on, I knew it was the one! While Alice was great, the ordering process was a pain. I ordered the size I tried on and had measurements for, however, the dress that arrived was nearly 2 sizes too smallI couldnt zip it up! If I had been informed by the staff to order up a size, I wouldntve had to spend months of stress and $$$ in alterations (at another store) to make sure it fit. Beautiful dresses, but buyer beware when it comes to sizes and ordersI wouldve had to pay for another whole new dress if it wasnt for my alterations (at a different bridal shop).
