image Finish is coming off where they sprayed over some caulking. Will not respond to any calls or texts asking for help with repair. Concerned it will grow if not fixed. No help from the company.
Update 12-22-23:
Have been texting and leaving messages and still nothing. Wondering if this company is still in business.
Update 3-8-24:
They still don't answer if I call. Tub is getting worse. Now have to hire another company to fix it.

image We had them come in January of this year to refinish an old bathtub. It turned out great. However, now its chipping and over the past 3 weeks Ive called and left at least 5 voicemails, sent two emails and one text message. Ive gotten NO response. Theres supposed to be a lifetime warranty and it hasnt even been 1 year and no one is bothering to call me back! I just want my bathtub fixed like yall promised you would do.

image We hired Specialized Refinishing to re-do the custom shower tub in a bathroom we are remodeling.
The initial technician came out on the scheduled date and was on time. He proceeded to very thoroughly tape / plastic off our brand new tile, which was great.
Our experience went downhill after this. We had disconnected the tub from the drain / overflow lines so that the new enamel would not get on our chrome drain fixtures. I informed the tech that the lines were disconnected and that he should not run any water as a result.
He apparently decided this was not a big deal and proceeded to run the shower, causing a small mess in our basement. Annoying, but not a huge deal.
Upon completion, we left the plastic up for a day as instructed and took it down ourselves after the 24 hour drying period. There were a few minor areas that needed to be fixed: a small chip, some discoloring in the tub, and some bubbling of the finish at the shower entrance. Because Specialized offers a lifetime warranty, we viewed these fixes as no big deal, and called the office to schedule another appointment to have these minor issues fixed.
The day before the tech was due to show up to fix the problems, the main office called and canceled, stating the tech was sick. All good, these things happen, we rescheduled. The next week, same thing happened again. "Tech unavailable, we'll reschedule". I started to get a bit concerned.
On what was now the third appointment made to fix our tub, you guessed it, we got a call cancelling and asking to reschedule. When we pointed out that clearly they were not interested in fixing our tub since they continuously rescheduled, the scheduler seemed entirely unconcerned and invited us to file a dispute with our credit card company.
So, since they are unwilling to fix their work (and someone with the business suggested it), I've filed a credit card dispute. This company does not stand by their work or warranty. If you have any warranty issues or the technician makes a mistake during the initial refinishing, you are out of luck. Service: Bathtub refinishing
