    Have been here for just over a year. I have to start this by saying the staff in the office are the nicest people you'll ever meet. They worked with my fianc and I to the very last day possible to make sure we had the best term on our lease that fit our needs. They went above and beyond to ensure our concerns were heard and addressed. The apartments are kept clean, and the pool area is not loud or rowdy at all. The maintenance staff is prompt and the location is superb. Highly recommend Mariposa Lofts.

    Having recently moved into the Mariposa Lofts after years in the metro Atlanta area, I can attest that location, location, location still rules the day. Located in the prime area of Inman Park its convenient to pretty much everything. Ive only been a resident for a few months but the building and community has been great. Leasing agent Dominikue is outstanding. Her knowledge of the community and building was instrumental in my decision to lease at Mariposa. The building is not new but well maintained and amenities are on par with some of the newer buildings in the area. Stay tuned for my updated review in the new future.

    -Bad: my motorcycle was stolen in October. My car was broken into in May. The garage door has been broken for LITERALLY 4 months of past 8 months. There are no cameras inside parking garage. There is no security inside parking garage. Strangers walk into our building, sleep in gym bathroom, and steal things. It goes on constantly. The apartment owners and powers have done NOTHING (update: after. Alot of complaining they have a guy who sits in a security car in the parking garage on the first floor at night). No emails, no updates, no temporary security, no new cameras. The residents have to fight for anyone to care. I personally have lost over $2000 due to poor garage security and I pay my parking fees. When I first moved in they gave me a boot to my car because my parking sticker was not visible. From what I know, vehicle thefts/break-ins are up all around town, so perhaps it's not really THEIR fault, but they could do something to respond to update: they have a security guard! (Only until gate is fixed or less, allegedly. However the parking deck attendant has booted the security guard car twice in a row .....so the communication is not great) -Fire alarms get pulled regularly or get triggered by false alarms. The fire alarms are PAINFULLY loud. I had to hold the ears of my newborn to ensure he did not go deaf. It hurts, its like a fire truck IN YOUR APARTMENT. WHY??? -Obviously, rent is SKY HIGH. If the place was working great, I would be happy, but there are many problems. So it hurts like being smacked in the face everything month. And of course rent goes up each year... -Residents leave trash in trash room and hallway, they don't care. They are too lazy to take an elevator downstairs to throw away large items. I can't blame owners for this but I'm sure they could make it easier somehow. -Owners/managers/CEO does not tend to do anything or email us or make changes. Mostly they stay silent on problems unless it is HUGE problem. If they can, they do nothing. But IF A RESIDENT pays rent late or parks wrong...trust me...they will be fined. I'm guessing most large complexes are like this, they tend to just enjoy profit and try to skirt responsibility. I made a post asking if anyone saw my motorcycle being stolen. The managers did not allow the post to be sent to the neighborhood forum. Good: I love the actual apartment (top floor, nice view, large). I like my neighbors (mostly). I like the pool, the gym is small but well-equipped. (The bench rack is half-broken for 4 months now). The location is amazing. My rent increase last year was only 8%...so it could be worse. They do activities which I appreciate to meet neighbors. My unit is quiet. I rarely hear noise, rarely hear neighbors. I am not near construction. Most noise I hear is a fool on the street blasting music and talking loudly at midnight. The administration front desk staff is friendly and available. Verdict: live here if you have no vehicle, are deaf and single, and are wealthy. Otherwise, prepare to suffer and pay a lot to do so. Is this a problem everywhere? It could be. Maybe it's time to leave central Atlanta for the burbs! When you first live here it seems great. As you see this shyza happening over time you will be upset. ........... Below they said they want me to contact them further to discuss...they literally know where I live and have every bit of contact info...#why? I already contacted them about this stuff.
