My friend was treated horribly by an employee here today. She was looking for a shoe that was labeled in-stock at the Athens location and he made multiple comments about how big her feet were and refused to look in the back for them. She had called previously to ask about her size as well, and it was confirmed that they had them at the store by a different employee. She and the rude man even checked the website which reaffirmed what she said, that the shoes in her size were available at this location. He returned with a 9.5 size and stated "I can't work with this" about her feet. He was so rude to her that she walked away and cried because she is stressed and needed those shoes for an event that was moved up by a week and he was unkind, unpleasant, and unhelpful with his commentary about her foot size, her rush to get the shoes, and her being upset by his treatment of her. He proceeded to tell her that in the real world "you can't just cry about things" and gave her a pamphlet to his church and said to pray about it. Is she supposed to pray for smaller feet now that she's fully grown? Gross incompetence on the part of this employee.

Kelvin in the shoe department is a TREASURE! He is very helpful and even reminded me I had $15 in Belk Bucks so I got a beautiful pair of shoes for a GREAT price.
